Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

Lesson fees and charges for organisations or companies are invoiced on dates specified by the third party, as well as individuals booking the ‘licence in a day’ course.  Individuals are required to pay the relevant fees up front prior to commencement.

We offer fair and reasonable refunds as per the conditions set out below, however no refund applies after the course has commence.  All final decisions regarding refunds, fees, cancellations and transfers are at the discretion of Purple Truck Driving School management.

Course Cancellation Refunds -

 

• Cancelled within 7 days: No charge and full refund of Queensland Transport deposit to rebook or refunded.

• Cancelled with either 7 to 3 days notice: Retention of Queensland transport deposit and up to 50% of truck hire for the same duration of the time booked, unless rebooked by another individual.

• Cancelled with 48 hours notice or less: Retention of Queensland Transport deposit and full payment of lessons, unless rebooked by another individual. 

In the event of any learner driver being turned away from training as a result of being adversely affected by drugs or alcohol according to the trainers’ best judgement, there will be no refund given.

Purple Truck Driving School guarantees that once that course has commenced, the student will not be disadvantaged in the unlikely event of a truck breakdown.  We will make every effort to have students complete the course at the next reasonable time or alternatively they will be refunded the money paid.
